Annick HUET
Annick Huet is an artist, specialized in appliqué on textile. Very well-known
for the meticulousness of her work and the elegance of her designs, she has published
several books on the techniques of appliqué, such as:
"FLEURS ROUGES en Appliqué" – Ed. Le Temps Apprivoisé (L.T.A.)
"L'Appliqué - Déco Enfants " (decoration for children) – Ed. Minerva
- Lamartinière.
And recently a book on her patchwork collection:
"PATCHWORKS TRADITIONNELS BICOLORES" – Ed. Le Temps Apprivoisé (L.T.A.)
Patterns (stencils and tracing paper) of some of her creations are also available.
Articles on her work have appeared in the French magazine, Prima.
Her products, combining practicality and decoration, will be on sale at the forthcoming
American Church’s Christmas Sale. You will find, among others, such articles as aprons,
tablecloths and napkins, bags, curtains, and towels: useful ideas for presents for
both family and friends!
Annick Huet gives courses to groups, associations, clubs (required minimum of 12 participants)
on her work in appliqué, on request, anywhere in France.
