Catherine EUGENECollages and table matsPicking lost papers from the urban, I create collages and greetings cards. Sometimes, I make big ones with papers of different textures and this brings me to the creation of colorful table mats. I laminate the photocopies (43 x 31 cm) and they can be used for all kind of dinners. The idea is, with these colorful creations, to transform an everyday object into an object which beautifies every day. Je réalise parfois des grands collages en apposant des papiers de diverses textures sur un format type A3. C’est ainsi que je les photocopie pour les présenter sur un format de set de table aux dimensions 43 cm x 31 cm. Ces quelques approches de collages où papiers, colle et création se rejoignent, m’amènent à l’épisode de sets de table plastifiés – mat ou brillant - pour des repas solitaires ou conviviaux.
